Day 1 to 4 – New York! The city that never sleeps

Day 5 to 6 – Visit Washington DC, capital of the United States of America
You can find all the best things to do in Washington DC, from concerts and cultural events to American history, free attractions and more. It’s easy to explore all that the nation’s capital has to offer. Roam the halls of the Smithsonian’s free museums, paddle the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers or sit on a double-decker tour bus and soak up some history. Local shops, trendy markets and hip people-watching spots await at noon, while nighttime gives way to multi-course dinners and drinks at local breweries. However you spend your time here, make it count.
New York to Washington DC: 224 miles, 3 hours 45 minutes
Day 7 – Short Trip to Raleigh, North Carolina
Enjoy the sounds of up-and-coming bands, as well as wild bluegrass festivals and more. Invigorate your senses with the many flavors of craft beers and spirits. Discover gifts and treasures at local boutiques, including many handmade and custom designs for truly eclectic finds. And expand your horizons with an engaging array of visual and performing arts exhibits. Enjoy the city’s great outdoors, too! Hikers, bikers and kayakers are out here in record numbers. Day 8 to 9 – Savannah, Georgia
Savannah, a coastal city in Georgia, is separated from South Carolina by the eponymous river. It is known for its landscaped parks, horse-drawn carriages, and antebellum architecture. Its historic district is full of cobblestone squares and parks like Forsyth Park, shaded by oaks covered in Spanish moss. At the center of this picturesque neighborhood is the famous Gothic Revival Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. Savannah was a Christmas gift to President Lincoln during the Civil War. Union General Sherman burned Atlanta to the ground during his infamous march south during the Civil War. When he arrived in Savannah, the city’s beauty prompted him to spare it. Instead of destroying Savannah as he did Atlanta, Sherman sent a telegraph from Savannah, with its manicured squares and lush greenery, to President Lincoln offering the city as a Christmas present. And what a gift Savannah still is!

Day 10 to 11 – Visit St. Augustine and its fortress
Saint Augustine is a city located on the northeast coast of Florida. It claims to be the oldest city in the United States and is known for its Spanish colonial architecture as well as its beaches on the Atlantic Ocean, including St. Augustine Beach and the quiet Crescent Beach. Visit Anastasia State Park, a protected nature reserve, as well as the Castillo de San Marcos, a 17th-century Spanish stone fortress overlooking the St. Augustine Inlet.

Day 12 – Kennedy Space Center Tour

Day 13 to 15 – Explore Miami
Miami is known for its white sand beaches, warm weather, delicious cuisine, Cuban coffee and Latin American influences. Some popular attractions include Miami Beach, South Beach, Zoo Miami, Bayside Marketplace, Little Havana, Ocean Drive. Discover the soul of these different neighborhoods. Little Havana is the vibrant Cuban heart of Miami, with Latin American art galleries and lively restaurants. Wynwood is one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods. Wynwood Walls is an open-air museum featuring large-scale works by some of the world’s most famous street artists. The Design District is known for its sleek modern architecture, high-end interior design stores and art galleries. Also, discover the Everglades on an Airboat ride. Cape Canaveral to Miami: 330 km, 2h45
Day 16 to 17 – Relaxation and marine excursion in Key West
Key West is an American city located at the western end of the Keys archipelago. The city occupies the entirety of the last of the islands from which it takes its name as well as a group of islets that surround it. Discover the Florida Keys, a string of tropical islands extending approximately 120 miles off the southern tip of the American state of Florida, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. They are known as a destination for fishing, boating, snorkeling and scuba diving. You can also go to the Dry Tortugas National Park in Florida which is full of beautiful protected coral reefs and seven small islands in the Gulf of Mexico, accessible only by boat or plane. Every day, a ferry can take you to the Dry Tortugas National Park.

Day 18 to 19 – Discovering Key Largo and its coral reef
The coral reef located off the island of Key Largo is part of the Florida Reef Tract, listed as the largest coral reef system in North America and the third largest coral reef in the world. Scuba diving is the best way to explore this magnificent and fragile natural resource. If you want to explore the seabed of Florida and in particular the coral reef located off the Keys, you will have to go by boat. During these visits, you will have the choice of snorkeling (fins-masks-snorkel) or scuba diving. Of course, snorkeling trips are cheaper and much easier for everyone than diving: no need to be athletic and experienced. Also explore the wonders of John Pennekamp Coral Reef from a glass-bottom boat, or dive in and admire parrotfish, snappers and sea urchins on a scuba diving or snorkeling adventure. For a more low-key experience, swim 100 feet off the park’s Cannon Beach to see fish scurrying around the remains of an ancient Spanish shipwreck.
